About the author
Professor Renata Salecl is a leading scholar on the subject of psychoanalysis and law. She is a senior researcher in criminology at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, Slovenia and a Visiting Professor in the School of Law at Birkbeck University of London. Professor Salecl is author of On Anxiety (2004) and Choice (2010). Professor Salecl has also just been awarded the title Slovenian Woman Scientist of the Year. The award was issued by the Slovenian Ministry of Science on 21 October 2010.
