Pod Doodle: Visualising Ideas
Pod Doodle is a series from our founder, Andrew Park. Using visual thinking, Andrew transforms podcasts into scribes.
Taking great audio and translating it to visual ideas.
Each week, we choose a podcast. We take a short section, a few minutes, a strong idea, a sharp moment, and we illustrate it.
A visual response. We want to show how visual thinking, illustration and animation can transform content into powerful content.
A note from Andrew: I started PodDoodle because I wanted to work with content in an unfettered way. Not to interpret it. Not to editorialise. But to echo it.
Visual thinking, at its best, is a form of listening, a way of answering a call. As Sir Ken Robinson once said, creativity is like a call and response: you hear something, and something stirs in return. That’s what Pod Doodle is.
Each week, we select a podcast. We don’t simplify it. We don’t editorialise it. We let it speak and we answer back, visually.
The result? A series of fast-turnaround whiteboard animations that capture the energy, clarity, and complexity of the original,
without diluting it.
